Invitation to “Springtime Walkabout” 2026 – A Swedish Road Adventure!
Join us from May 8th to 10th, 2026, for an unforgettable classic car tour through Western Sweden and Värmland.
We start at World of Volvo in Gothenburg and travel through scenic landscapes with stops at exclusive car collections, the Håverud Aqueduct, and the legendary Båstnäs car cemetery.
Weekend Highlights:
- Friday: Meeting in Gothenburg (convenient for Stena Line arrivals), World of Volvo tour, US-car viewing in Mellerud, and dinner in Åmål.
- Saturday: Driving along Lake Glafsfjorden, meeting the Porsche Club Sweden (celebrating their 50th anniversary), and a cozy BBQ evening with a pub and music in Skillingsfors.
- Sunday: Picnic-brunch at the famous Båstnäs car scrapyard before heading home (convenient for ferries from Oslo or Gothenburg).
Registration & Logistics:
- Participation Fee: 550 SEK per person (includes start-coffee, Sunday brunch, and event organization).

- Night 1 (Åmål): Please book individually at Åmåls Stadshotell.
- Night 2 (Skillingsfors): Reserved automatically upon registration (payment on-site).
